Players are suspended regularly in the NFL for steroids. The Bonds drama is that because of the length of time its been going on, and because shoot, he's going after (or broke) all-time records.

Question, if your a carpenter and a new tool comes out that will make you faster and better at what you do, you buy it, right? If your a educator, you are continually going back to school to keep your skills current or improve yourselft. If your a doctor and a new diagnostic machine or procedure comes out, you get! So how is it that wrong for a professional athlete to improve his / her strenght, speed and durability by taking "roids? I can see where you are coming from, but the biggest difference is that none of these others eventually lead to more problems and actually cause more damage than good in the long run. Personally if they want to kill themselves with these things let'em just thinning of the herd.
